In order to calculate area of your countertop follow those instructions:

1: Divide your countertop into rectangular pieces like shown in the example below.
2: Measure the sides of the rectangular pieces.
3: Find area of each piece by multiplying one side by another and then summ them all together.
Done!!!

Example:


We have 3 total pieces.

Piece 1:
1 3/4' x 1 1/2' = 2 5/8 Square feet

Piece 2:
(1 1/4' + 3/4') x 1 3/4' = 2' x 1 3/4' = 3 1/2 square feet

Piece 3:
4' x 1 1/4' = 5 Square feet

Total area:
P1 + P2 + P3 = 2 5/8 + 3 1/2 + 5 = 11 1/8 Square feet

Convert the result into decimal:
11 1/8 = 11 + 1/8 = 11.125 Square feet.
11.125 is the final number you need to enter in the area below!
